Dr. Imperato is a third generation Alaskan and grew up in Willow. She left Alaska to go to college at Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado. She then went on to medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2004. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency in Grand Rapids, MI. Her goal had been to return to Alaska to raise my family and she started her hospitalist career at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in 2007. She is excited for the opportunity to join The Alaska Hospitalist Group and to continue to provide excellent care to the community she grew up in.
In my free time she enjoys camping, cycling, berry picking and cross country skiing with her husband and four boys.
